Researching and editing are two things I find absolutely fascinating. In a world of dying crafts, writing down as much of living history as possible is one way to ensure the ebb and flow of techniques doesn’t cause your preferred craft to go extinct.
My focus as an editor is to ensure you sound confident throughout your publication while leaving your writing easy to understand for generations to come.
Mending services
Sliding scale $10-30 per patch
With overconsumption on the rise, mending holes in your clothes effectively reduces the amount of clothing waste you produce, especially when a hole develops in your favorite jeans! I can patch any size hole on any piece of clothing with either a machine or a sashiko stitch. Each patch adds character and new life to your garment. You can choose the color of thread and fabric used to patch, design of stitch, and whether you would like the patch to be as invisible as possible
Sewing Lessons
$30/hr
Sewing is hard, and it's even harder when you don't know where to start. That is where I come in. I learned how to sew in 2018 and never looked back. As a plus-sized person, knowing how to upcycle clothes to fit or add adjustable sizing has boosted my confidence in ways I never knew possible. Whether you're an eager beginner or a crafty connoisseur looking to sharpen those skills, I a needle and a dream for you.

Lessons occur in my private home studio (with guest stars Beef and Brick, the cats) or in your home. All necessary notions, fabric, and machine supplied.
